I’m a freelance sound designer, working on podcasts, short films, and commercial projects for clients in different countries. Since my work is entirely digital—editing, mixing, and client feedback—I’ve had the freedom to move for years. After constantly changing cities, I wanted somewhere I could stay permanently and actually feel at home.
Barcelona stood out because it combines creativity with a relaxed pace of life. I moved there first without buying anything, rented an apartment, and spent a few months getting used to the city and testing how it worked for my daily schedule. It quickly became clear that I was more focused and less stressed there than anywhere else I had lived.
